Correlation between africa and and the evolution of hip hop...?

There is a correlation, though it is not cause and effect. Hip hop may be influenced by the cultures of Africa in SOME ways, but not wholly. maybe you can stress on how it is partially influenced rather than how it is practically from africa, like your teacher says.
