Late period from traveling?

So I have kind of a complicated question. I've been on birth control for a little over a year now. Every month I get my period on the exact same day at the same time. I can predict it like clockwork. Well the past 2 months or so I've been forgetting multiple times to take it and have been having unprotected with my boyfriend. Well I expected my period last night because that's when it always happens. It's been a full day and still no show. This has never happened in over a year. However, I'm on vacation right now and flew down about a week ago. I was just wondering if the traveling has anything to do with the delay? I obviously know that I could be pregnant, I'm just wondering if traveling can effect it? Thanks for any and all answers!
